I formulated Face Base in response to wanting clean, simplified skincare.
Developed in my kitchen in California, I tested different products and formulations relentlessly. I would often show up to social events with bottles of test serums in my bag, soliciting friends for constructive feedback. After months, I landed on this formulation, one that sees the best results across most people.
My name is Ligia (pronounced Lee-hee-yuh) and I was born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles. I like doing things with my hands and being meticulous about details. I also believe that everything our bodies need is available in the natural world. Face Base is a testament to mother nature as our medicine keeper.
